The Art of Hands on Adjustments - The Loving Touch in a Yoga Class  Workshop

I started practicing yoga with an amazing instructor in NC. His classes were wonderful: beautiful challenging flows with the most delicious hands-on adjustments. I was amazed by how I was always able to experience a deeper version of my practice with his help. With his hands on adjustments, I discovered over and over again new levels of flexibility, strength and stability. I felt supported, cared for, acknowledged and truly grateful for his transformative touch. Through my years of practice and teaching, I’ve developed a passion for it, and today, I cannot imagine a class without incorporating hands on adjustments.

If you are a yoga teacher and wish to experience and learn more about this beautiful art, this workshop is for you.

During the workshop we will:

Discuss the foundation of intentional, effective, confident and conscious touch. Explore its purpose and best practices.

Individually experience hands on adjustments in a variety of poses including centering, warmups, standing, balancing, floor, and Savasana.

Practice these hands on adjustments on each other in a safe, learning environment with honest feedback and caring encouragement.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to incorporate hands on adjustment throughout your classes with ease and confidence, helping your students rediscover their practice.
